Equine Aromatherapy Certification Course
This online course will teach you everything you need to know to start a career as an Equine Aromatherapist or allow you to add aromatherapy to your equine bodywork practice.
This course covers the history of essential oils, safety and guidelines, chemistry of essential oils, blending oils, carrier oils, which oils are safe for use on horses and what ailments can benefit from each particular oil, comparison of brands, case studies and applications.
This course can be started at anytime and never expires so you can work at your own pace. At the completion of the course, you will earn the title of Certified Equine Aromatherapist.
Any brand of essential oils (as long as they are pure) can be used for your case studies. We do not push or promote a particular brand, but we will provide you with recommendations if needed.

About your Instructors
Dr. Angelique Barbara (affectionally called Dr. Angel by many of her clients) is a Doctor of Chiropractic who holds additional degrees in Veterinary Science (B.S.), Equine Science (Minor) and Veterinary Pathobiology (M.S.). Dr. Barbara has been passionate about animals her entire life and has spent the majority of her life studying animals (both in the classroom and in the field). She developed her first animal bodywork seminar in 2009. Since that time, her seminars have grown both in number and popularity and she has fine tuned her seminars and techniques to optimize the learning experience. Dr. Barbara was one of the first practitioners to start utilizing kinesiology tape on animals and she was so impressed with the results that she decided to develop an entire seminar dedicated to the taping applications she developed. Her background in both the clinical and research animal health care world as well her experience as a human chiropractor give her a unique perspective on animal bodywork, which is evident in her courses.
Dr. Barbara has publications in the Journal of Veterinary Science and Microbiology and has presented her research at the Conference of Researchers in Animal Disease (CRAWD) and the International Equine Conference of Laminitis and Diseases of the Hoof. She is a member of Alpha Zeta Honorary Fraternity, American Quarter Horse Association, American Paint Horse Association and French Bulldog Rescue Network. |
Heather Lundervold has had horses her entire life and She has extensive equine knowledge. She started showing and competing with horses at age 7, continued on to high school, college rodeo and into her adult years.
Heather studied farm ranch management, equine science and marketing at Dickinson State University and ASU. Heather has worked as a equine dental assistant, veterinary assistant and vet tech at Turf Paradise. She is certified in Equine Emergency First Aid, Advanced First Aid, PEMF Therapy, A.I Management, Large and Small Animal Aromatherapy, Equine Massage, Equine Craniosacral Therapy and Equine Kinesiology Taping. She is the teachers assistant at Angels Animals for the first aid and aromatherapy courses. She also teaches hands on workshops around the United States. She is a member and speaker of her local saddle club The Granite Mountain Riders, Equine Badge Leader for the Girl Scouts, member of the American Quarter Horse Association, The American Paint Horse Association, National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy and Alliance of International Aromatherapists. |
